Natalie Grace is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) who earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Michigan State University. She brings experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in outpatient mental health, community mental health, and child advocacy settings. Her diverse professional background has provided her with a strong foundation in supporting individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, relational, and trauma-related challenges.
Natalie has a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, and families, while also welcoming adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and challenging life transitions. Her experience working with children and families affected by trauma has shaped her compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy and her understanding of how life experiences can influence emotional well-being, relationships, and personal growth.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and strengths-based interventions, Natalie tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. She incorporates practical strategies such as emotional regulation skills, grounding techniques, and psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in managing life’s challenges.
Natalie believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. She strives to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients of all ages feel safe, heard, respected, and supported. When working with children and adolescents, she also recognizes the importance of collaborating with caregivers and other supportive individuals to promote growth and lasting positive change.
Above all, Natalie is passionate about meeting clients where they are and helping them recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward greater emotional well-being. Whether clients are processing difficult experiences, navigating family or relationship challenges, or working toward personal goals, Natalie is dedicated to walking alongside them with compassion, encouragement, and hope.
