Over the past 6 years I have worked with children, adolescents, and families, across various different settings including outpatient, community, school, in-home and inpatient settings. I have supported clients through anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral challenges, trauma, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, and other life challenges. Most importantly, I want therapy to be a safe, welcoming, and supportive place where my clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and I work collaboratively with my clients and their families to understand their unique experiences, build on their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop tools that can make everyday life feel a little more manageable. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, interests, and developmental stage, drawing from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. With children especially, I believe therapy does not always have to look like sitting and talking, so I often incorporate play, games, storytelling, and other creative activities to make therapy engaging and meaningful.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Boston College School of Social Work in 2019, where I concentrated in Children, Youth, and Families and completed certificates in Trauma Studies and School Social Work. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in 2017, with a focus on Children, Youth, and Community Education and minors in Psychology and Spanish.
