Dean Morales, MA, LPCC, is a therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, athletes, and individuals navigating life transitions, identity development, stress, and emotional challenges. His practice is rooted in the belief that growth occurs when individuals are given the space to better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and move toward a life aligned with their values and goals.
As a former collegiate baseball and track athlete who trained at a baseball academy in the Dominican Republic, Dean brings firsthand insight into the pressures of performance, achievement, and personal growth. His experience as a youth coach has further shaped his understanding of the challenges facing young people, athletes, and their families. He enjoys helping clients build resilience, navigate setbacks, strengthen confidence, and develop a healthy relationship with success and personal achievement.
Dean’s therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and informed by mindfulness-based, transpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral interventions. Through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, he helps clients increase self-awareness, explore patterns that may no longer serve them, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. His work emphasizes personal growth, self-understanding, and the integration of the many experiences that shape an individual’s identity.
Clients working with Dean can expect a warm, authentic, and collaborative environment where they are encouraged to explore both their strengths and struggles while creating meaningful and lasting change. Outside of his clinical practice, Dean enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, creating and collecting art, reading, and connecting with family and friends.
