I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, supported, and accepted for who you are. Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate alone, and you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, talk openly about what you’re experiencing, and develop tools to help you feel more confident navigating life.
I received my undergraduate degree in Public Health from West Chester University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults in school, community-based, and outpatient settings.
I especially enjoy working with children and helping them understand and express their emotions, build healthy coping skills, and work through changes and challenges in their lives. I also enjoy supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, anxiety, stress, and the many transitions that come with growing up and becoming more independent.
My approach is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also incorporating a person-centered approach. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to the individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, and we will work together to identify what feels meaningful and helpful for you.
Whether you’re going through a difficult transition, struggling with anxiety or stress, trying to better understand your emotions, or simply feeling like you need someone in your corner, I’m here to help. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling understood, supported, and more equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
