Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a recent graduate of Merrimack College’s master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, empathic, and grounded in trust and compassion. I feel that therapy should be a safe space in which clients feel comfortable being their genuine selves, while progressing at a pace that is right for them. I strive to connect with each client on a deeply human level, integrating lightheartedness and humor, whenever appropriate in session. I believe that my own lived experiences have helped shape me as a clinician, allowing me to facilitate therapy with authenticity and relatability.
I have experience working with a multitude of populations, including but not limited to, individuals living with addiction, living on the autism spectrum, and individuals living with trauma, grief and loss, as well as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, spanning children, adolescents, and adults.
Outside of the office, you will often find me dancing, teaching dance, or spending time with my new mini-Dachshund puppy, Peter. A fun fact about me is that I hold dual citizenship in both France and the United States!
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with, and support clients. I would be honored to walk alongside you and support you on your therapeutic journey!
