What if therapy could be a place where you can be yourself, explore what matters, and even have a little fun along the way?
Ross believes meaningful therapy can be both thoughtful and challenging while still leaving room for humor, creativity, curiosity, and play.
Ross is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who works primarily with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, relationships, identity, personal growth, and the many questions that can come with figuring out who you are and where you want to go next. His approach is grounded in the belief that no two people experience the world in exactly the same way, so therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all experience.
Drawing from Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Ross works collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, build practical coping skills, and identify pathways toward meaningful change. He also incorporates experiential activities into therapy, creating opportunities for clients to practice new skills, strengthen connection, explore challenges from different perspectives, and recognize strengths they may not always see in themselves.
Ross has experience working with neurodivergent young adults, including individuals on the autism spectrum who are navigating co-occurring mental health concerns. He strives to create an environment where clients feel respected, understood, and comfortable bringing their authentic selves into the therapeutic space.
Outside of his work as a therapist, Ross enjoys traveling, cooking, climbing, all things aviation, and—perhaps most importantly—finding opportunities to play.
Therapy is a journey of curiosity, growth, and discovery, and Ross is honored to be alongside his clients for the adventure.
