About Audrey Hanseman
Audrey is a licensed social worker (LSW, MSW) who earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She has several years of experience serving clients in both the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, and prioritizes improving the wellbeing of her local community through her practice.
She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques to help each individual client clarify their goals and work through any obstacles to mental wellbeing. She believes that effective therapy should involve both therapist and client working together as a team to explore options and come up with strategies for coping with life’s challenges.
Audrey has experience working with adolescents and adults, covering a range of topics such as substance use, social anxiety and depression, behavioral issues, stress management, and personality disorders.
