About Mae Harvey
Mae is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern who values creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. Her professional background in behavioral health, healthcare, and education has given her experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds through challenging and vulnerable moments and strengthened her passion for mental health and counseling.
Mae is interested in working with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, work and financial stress, grief -and loss, relationship and intimacy concerns, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. She also has a special interest in supporting law enforcement professionals, military members and veterans, and their spouses and families as they navigate the unique challenges these roles can bring to individuals and relationships.
Mae earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Butler University. Outside of counseling, Mae enjoys spending time with her dogs and exploring creative interests.
