About Heather Guzik
Heather Guzik is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that earned her degree from USF. Heather is a military veteran who has a passion for active and reserve military members and their families as well as military veterans and their family members, and first responders. Heather started out working for a non-profit built for veterans with severe trauma and traumatic brain injuries. She then redirected her focus to working with children and helping them navigate through their day-to-day activities and their mental health. Heather now specializes in ages 6-11 and 18-65. She specializes in the fields of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. Heather uses a compilation of CBT, DBT, art and play therapy techniques as well as person-centered focus therapies. Heather is proud to offer face-to-face as well as telehealth sessions.
