About Veronica Chavarria
Veronica Chavarria (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW). She graduated from Rutgers University, where she also completed the Addiction Counseling Training (ACT) Program through Rutgers Center of Alcohol Studies and School of Social Work. Veronica specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has practiced as a clinician in a wide variety of clinical settings such as Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient, In-Home Counseling (IIC), and school-based for 10 years. Veronica uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation techniques. She believes all clients should be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
