Kendra Fiedler, MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 10 years of experience helping people work through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the many complicated parts of being human. She takes a warm, down-to-earth approach to therapy and believes you should be able to walk into a session as yourself. No polished version, no perfect answers, and no pretending everything is fine when it isn’t.
Kendra uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach and believes therapy works best when it is a collaboration. She particularly enjoys working with LGBTQ+ clients, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity, family dynamics, and major life changes. She has a special interest in adult relationships with parents, including setting boundaries, navigating changing family roles, and figuring out how to have healthier relationships without losing yourself in the process. Her approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and existential therapy, with interventions tailored to each person’s goals and circumstances.
Kendra believes people are more than the problems that bring them to therapy. She enjoys helping clients make sense of their experiences, recognize patterns, build on their existing strengths, and decide what they want to do differently. Therapy can be challenging, but it does not have to feel stiff or clinical. Kendra brings curiosity, honesty, and a sense of humor to her work and hopes clients leave sessions with a little more clarity and a better understanding of themselves.
