Hi, I’m Aubrey, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with master’s degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. I work with adolescents ages 14+ and adults of all ages, including individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and PTSD, gender dysphoria, and other life challenges.
I believe therapy works best when we work together. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll work collaboratively to identify your goals, determine what feels most helpful, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach draws from psychodynamic therapy and parts-work, with a focus on understanding how past experiences can influence the way we relate to ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. I also incorporate mindfulness, practical skills, and trauma-informed approaches to help you better understand and manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I have experience working with trauma and posttraumatic stress, as well as supporting trans and queer clients in exploring identity, relationships, and the unique challenges they may face. Wherever you are in your journey, my goal is to help you feel more understood, develop greater self-awareness, and build the tools you need to move forward.
