About Allyson Skopelites

Hi! I’m Ally. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) and master licensed alcohol and drug counselor (MA) here in New Hampshire! My approach to counseling is collaborative, and I believe a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust is the foundation of that collaboration. My counseling style is person-centered and I always focus sessions on the needs of the individual that I’m working with. I have completed 40 hours of basic Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as a 50 hour certification as a First Responder Counselor. I utilize various treatment modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help treat diagnoses including but not limited to anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use and co-occurring disorders.
