I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as their authentic selves while exploring the changes they want to make in their lives. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and my role is to support clients in better understanding themselves, finding balance, building resilience, and feeling empowered by their own choices.
As a first-generation therapist, I understand the importance of creating a therapeutic space that honors the multicultural values, beliefs, traditions, and perspectives that shape who we are and how we connect with others. I strive to meet each client with curiosity, respect, and an understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.
I use an integrative approach that draws from evidence-based practices including Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Care. Treatment is individualized based on each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.
Life can bring plenty of hardship and pain, but I also believe there is room for humor in therapy. When appropriate, I love helping clients laugh through the pain while also creating space to cry, process, and sit with the feelings that don’t always have words.
Outside of therapy, you can usually find me with a Diet Coke, Sour Skittles, and an ice-cold water for balance.
