Jeriney Moss is an aspiring Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, recognize their strengths, and achieve personal growth. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration.
She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and a person-centered approach to help clients build self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and develop practical coping strategies. Jeriney has experience working with children and adolescents in school-based settings, as well as emerging adults and adults ages 25–65 in addiction counseling. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals experiencing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring mental health concerns.
Jeriney believes healing begins with a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, genuineness, and respect. Her goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater balance, resilience, and hope. Life is full of unexpected twists, new adventures, and sometimes a few plot twists we never saw coming. Outside the therapy room, I love to travel and experience things that continue to shape how I see the world and care for others. I also love cartoons and believe there’s always room for a little laughter and playfulness, even while doing meaningful work.
