I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and know that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. My approach is warm, genuine, creative, and collaborative. I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I draw from these approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts and feelings, build healthy coping skills, work through challenges, and create meaningful change. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, personality, and goals.
I have experience working with children, teens, and families who are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional and behavioral challenges, and difficult life changes. I know that everyone communicates and experiences the world differently, so I take the time to understand each person’s perspective and what matters most to them.
In our sessions, we’ll work together to identify your strengths, develop practical tools for managing life’s challenges, and set goals that feel both meaningful and achievable. My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming, and trauma-informed space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I want clients to leave therapy feeling more confident in themselves, better equipped to handle challenges, and empowered to continue growing long after our work together.
