Hayes Mitchell, LPCA, is a trauma-informed therapist who takes a person-centered approach, incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). They support clients in embracing their authentic selves and building a meaningful, values-driven life. Hayes works with individuals with LGBTQ+ identity, depression, anxiety, dissociation/dissociative disorders, trauma, PTSD/C-PTSD, and ADHD, among other concerns. They provide identity-affirming care for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients.
Hayes holds degrees from Pratt Institute and Albertus Magnus College. They have experience working with young adults in a college counseling setting as well as LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent adults in private practice. Hayes is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. They tailor therapy to each client’s unique goals, strengths, and needs.
