Healing Starts with Feeling Heard.
Hello, I’m Mamatha, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
If you’re navigating depression, trauma, anxiety, or mood changes, you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly understood. I believe meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic partnership, and I strive to meet each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique story.
Together, we’ll build a personalized treatment plan that focuses not only on symptom relief, but also on long-term stability, resilience, and growth. Whether that includes medication management, education, or practical strategies you can use in everyday life, my goal is to empower you with tools that support lasting change.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 13 years of experience in nursing and psychiatry. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and my Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nursing from Long Island University in New York. My background includes community health, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient mental health clinics, and substance use treatment, which has given me a broad perspective on the many ways mental health challenges can impact daily life.
I specialize in diagnosing and treating a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, PTSD, and OCD. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, combining thoughtful medication management with open communication and mutual respect.
You deserve care that honors who you are and supports where you want to go. I’m here to walk alongside you on that journey.
