Whether you’re a parent supporting an overwhelmed child, an adult healing from your own childhood wounds, or someone simply trying to find peace in the chaos—therapy can be a place to exhale. As a former school counselor and now LPC-Associate (supervised by Mark Cagle), I support clients of all ages through challenges both loud and quiet.
I bring extensive experience working with children and teens (ages 4–18) through anxiety, crisis recovery, school stress, and emotional regulation. I understand how overwhelming parenting can be when your child is hurting. I also support parents with tools to strengthen connection, communication, and confidence in their parenting journey. As a mom myself, I bring both professional training and personal experience—including helping my own son through cancer remission—into the room with empathy and real-world perspective.
I also work with adults facing anxiety, burnout, parenting stress, and the long-term effects of growing up with emotionally immature caregivers—a subject I’ve researched and continue to explore deeply in my clinical work. Couples are another group that I love working with and pull from Gottman and Relational Life Therapy to deepen communication and strengthen conflict management tools
I offer a grounded, human-centered approach informed by CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and crisis-responsive care. I hold a Master’s in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Angelo State University.
