Baylee is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is supervised by Dr. Desiree Stephens LPC-S, NCC, TLHL LMHC, Certified CCPT, ACS License Number 76520. Baylee has experience working in a school setting as a behavioral therapist, in nonprofit organizations, in the inpatient hospital setting, and as a counseling intern at a sexual assault crisis center.
While difficult experiences are an inevitable part of life, Baylee believes that having a strong support system and a safe space to heal can significantly lessen their impact. Her approach to counseling integrates interventions from Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Person-Centered theories, allowing her to tailor care to each client’s unique story and goals. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual abuse, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, or religious trauma. Along with this, she is also passionate about instilling hope and making a positive impact in the lives of younger clients by incorporating play therapy techniques.
Outside of the counseling office, you can find Baylee making lattes, walking her labradoodle, listening to music with the windows down, baking sweet treats, or spending meaningful time with my loved ones. Baylee’s personal and professional experiences shape her ability to show up for clients with empathy, authenticity, and compassion.
