Dr. Rosemary Emordi is a license-eligible psychologist specializing in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for adults with complex trauma. She has extensive experience treating mood and trauma-related disorders with particular expertise in Black mental health, racialized stress, gender affirming, burnout, and identity-related concerns. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, and Black feminist frameworks, with a strong emphasis on ethical, collaborative, and identity-affirming care.
Dr. Emordi earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in addiction and dual-diagnosis treatment at McLean-Fernside Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She is an active presenter and researcher on topics including cultural responsive clinical practice, and she remains committed to creating therapeutic spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal.
