I am a licensed master social worker with a passion for helping children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether you or your child is facing overwhelming emotions, working through difficult experiences, or striving for personal growth, I provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to explore, heal, and build resilience.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches help my clients manage emotions more effectively, communicate more clearly, and build healthier habits in their relationships and daily life. I also bring a humanistic approach, encouraging self-compassion and helping my clients reconnect with their true selves as they work toward healing and growth.
Because healing often happens not just in the mind but in the body, I incorporate somatic techniques that support stress reduction, grounding, and trauma recovery. For children, or for clients who may find it difficult to express themselves through words alone, I offer developmentally appropriate interventions such as play-based therapy and expressive arts. These creative approaches offer supportive and engaging ways to express feelings, build coping skills, and strengthen connections.
My approach is collaborative and centered on your strengths, with each session tailored to your unique needs and goals. I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to clarify what you want to achieve, navigate challenges, and celebrate the progress you make along the way. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to move toward the changes you want in your life.
