I am a trauma-informed clinician with a strong background in child and family therapy. I work with children, adolescents, and families, and I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and respected. I strive to meet clients where they are, honoring autonomy in sessions while thoughtfully weaving in therapeutic goals. Laughter and humor are central to my approach – because, “life is hard; why make it harder?”
Guided by my psychoanalytic training and a trauma-informed framework, I am dedicated to providing culturally responsive care and am deeply committed to serving diverse and marginalized communities. I draw from a range of modalities, including CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, somatic techniques, trauma-focused approaches, strengths-based and person-centered therapy, crisis interventions, and psychodynamic therapy. I have experience working with Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, OCD, ODD, Depressive Disorders, and self-harm. I am especially passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and increasing access to care for individuals who may not traditionally seek support.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Cornell University. My professional experience includes outpatient, school-based, and crisis settings, where I have provided individual, group, and family therapy. My work has also involved IEP development, crisis intervention, and collaboration with families and community partners, including DCF, DMH, DDS, and DYS.
