My name is Karen, and I am a clinically licensed social worker licensed in Kansas with 27 years of experience working with individuals and couples. I am skilled in working with clients who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault, domestic violence, and childhood abuse. I also have experience working with clients who are struggling with parenting issues, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and low self-esteem. I am an engaging, responsive therapist with a compassionate, practical, and straightforward style. I am client-centered and strengths-focused in my practice, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, EMDR, Solution-Focused, and Gottman therapy approaches. I enjoy helping clients set and meet their goals, working to achieve their potential.
