Hi, I am Nina Liu-Guechev, LPCC, who brings a grounded, humanistic, and relational style to my work. With a blend of warmth, compassion, and realism, I help clients find meaning, connection, and sustainable tools for change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or a life in transition, my therapy room is a space where you can unpack, process, and rebuild—with a touch of humor and a lot of heart.
I specialize in working with clients managing trauma, anxiety, depression, and incorporating so called Nerd Culture/ geek therapy. I offer insight and support for individuals navigating all aspects of self.
My style is equal parts validating and practical. Clients describe me as authentic, trauma-informed, and supportive. I incorporate a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person- Centered Therapy, Solution Focused /Brief Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused CBT, always tailoring my approach to the client in front of me.
I work with tweens, teens, and adults, as well as families. Whether you’re a preteen navigating big feelings, a young adult facing life transitions, or a family trying to reconnect—I provide a grounded, compassionate space for healing and growth.
Therapy with me is an invitation to connect more deeply with yourself. My clients often walk away with a greater sense of self-awareness, stronger emotional insight, improved communication skills, and tangible coping strategies that extend well beyond the therapy room. Most importantly, they leave with a renewed sense of confidence, self-trust, and clarity in their relationships—with themselves and with others. I lead with authenticity and encourage my clients to do the same.
