Liz is a Marriage and Family Therapist with a heart for helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change in their lives. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of relationships, parenthood, or personal healing, Liz strives to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate and collaborative.
Liz holds specialized experience and training in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, and pre- and postpartum mental health. Liz is a former birth doula and volunteer with Central Ohio’s Perinatal Outreach and Empowerment for Moms (POEM), supporting mothers through some of the most transformative—and often overwhelming—moments of life.
When working with clients, Liz draws from evidence-based approaches like Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), always with a focus on helping you tap into your own inner strength and resilience.
You are the expert on your life—and Liz’s role is to walk alongside you, ask meaningful questions, and support you in creating the change you want to see.
Liz is especially passionate about working with new parents and first responder families—communities that often carry a lot while being expected to hold it all together. She also cares deeply about breaking down the stigma around mental health. Therapy doesn’t have to be clinical or cold. It can be creative, empowering, and even healing.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find Liz at a local metal show, tending to the animals on her homestead, or playing bass guitar. Creative outlets remind her of the importance of staying grounded and connected—which is something she brings into the therapeutic space, too.
Liz welcomes clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just looking to try something different. Whether you are navigating relationship stress, life transitions, or trauma recovery, she understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they explore what healing and growth look like for them.
