About Elana Cockburn Jones
Elana is a warm, empathic, and compassionate licensed mental health counselor who believes that everyone has inherent worth and the tools to enact meaningful change in their lives. Elana brings over a decade of experience working in community mental health and schools, specializing in helping children, teens, and young adults navigate the challenges of growing up—whether it’s managing anxiety, building confidence, understanding and accepting who they are, or finding direction.
Elana is also deeply passionate about supporting parents and caregivers navigating the core-shaking yet beautiful journey of parenthood by breaking generational cycles and strengthening their own regulation and confidence in raising little humans.
Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Integrative Family Therapy, and a strengths-based lens to foster growth, self-awareness, clarity, and resilience. Elana received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling with a School and Community Specialization from Lesley University.
