Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about creating meaningful, collaborative, and healing relationships with my clients. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marist University and have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, including substance use. My goal is to meet you where you are, offering compassionate support while gently encouraging growth, insight, and lasting change.
My approach is person-centered and holistic, blending evidence-based techniques with empathy, flexibility, and curiosity. I often use Motivational Interviewing to help clients reconnect with their values, build self-awareness, and move toward meaningful goals. I work from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens, tailoring my approach to each person’s unique experiences and pace.
While my background has primarily focused on adults, I’m expanding my practice to include children, adolescents, and couples. I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to feel seen, heard, and understood.
Outside of therapy, I love traveling, being near the water, and spending time in cozy coffee shops or at live music events. I’m also a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and a good workout class with an uplifting playlist.
