With more than 13 years of experience in behavioral health, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Director, and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy professional. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, with advanced training in Cognitive Processing Therapy. My experience spans outpatient therapy, community mental health, intensive home-based services, family-centered care, and clinical leadership.
I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, emotional dysregulation, and patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and develop the insight and practical skills needed to create meaningful, sustainable change.
My therapeutic style is warm, grounded, and collaborative, while also offering structure and respectful challenge when helpful. I practice from a holistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that emotional well-being is shaped by relationships, identity, environment, culture, and broader systems. Together, we will develop an individualized approach that reflects your goals, lived experience, and unique needs.
My clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-informed interventions, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT), schema-focused therapy, attachment-focused interventions, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed care. I also incorporate somatic strategies—including body awareness, breathwork, and movement—to support emotional regulation and a stronger connection between mind and body.
In addition to my direct clinical experience, I have extensive expertise in clinical supervision, therapist development, and the implementation of evidence-based practices. This leadership background strengthens my ability to recognize complex patterns, thoughtfully integrate multiple therapeutic approaches, and provide care that is both compassionate and clinically grounded.
Clients can expect a balance of validation, curiosity, practical skill-building, and honest reflection. I believe laughter and levity can have a meaningful place in healing, and I welcome humor when it feels natural and supportive. Throughout our work, I will help you deepen self-awareness, strengthen self-acceptance, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and approach all parts of yourself with greater understanding and compassion.
I specialize in working with adults ages 24–80 of all genders and am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ clients.
If you are looking for an experienced therapist who will honor the complexity of your story while helping you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion, I would be honored to work alongside you.
