About Katherine Planchard

Katherine (Katie) Planchard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor for Registered Interns in Florida. Before joining Ellie, Katie spent over ten years gaining clinical and administrative experience helping teens, adults, couples and families in outpatient and non-profit settings. Katie is passionate about guiding her clients to discover and build on their innate strengths to overcome issues such as traumatic experiences, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Katie is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and enjoys helping her clients with this intervention in conjunction with talk therapy.

Katie strives to embody Ellie’s core values by bringing authenticity, compassion, and non-judgmental support to every person she works with. Katie also loves to empower other clinicians to reach their full potential through supervision and consultation. She believes that a strong team is key to providing the highest quality care to each and every client, and she is excited to bring a group of talented therapists to serve the Tampa Bay, FL community!

In her free time, Katie enjoys weight lifting, relaxing at the beach or pool, and entertaining friends and family with a home cooked meal.
