Hi, I’m Maggie! I’m a trauma-informed, person-centered therapist at Ellie Mental Health in Salem. I firmly believe you should be in the driver’s seat of your own care. My practice is grounded in unconditional positive regard, meaning you’ll always be met with genuine warmth, respect, and acceptance. I bring humor into my work and encourage you to show up completely as yourself: unfiltered and authentic.
I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College and bring a background rooted in acute crisis stabilization on McLean Hospital’s Short Term Unit, alongside my internship and work as a community support clinician in local community mental health. My clinical approach blends person-centered care, narrative therapy, and CBT, with plans for future EMDR training.
I work with adults and older teens (16+) who thrive in a collaborative space that respects their growing independence. While I hold deep ties to military and LGBTQ+ family systems and frequently work with veterans, first responders, and high-acuity populations, my door is open to anyone seeking a grounded, non-judgmental environment. I regularly support clients navigating complex trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, neurodivergence, and chronic suicidal ideation—offering care in person, as well as telehealth.
