Holly has a deep love and acceptance of all people. She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), earning her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She has worked in social services since 2019 and specializes in trauma therapy, seeking to create a safe relationship with each individual. Holly works with ages 12+ and she enjoys working with individuals, families, and couples.
After years of work in social services, Holly believes that everyone has the strength to find resilience through life’s changes. Holly creates a non-judgmental and open environment for reflection and self-expression, and finds joy in learning about each individual and creating therapeutic skills based on their interests, perspective, and relational style. She supports clients in navigating anger, complex trauma, life transitions, relational challenges, and systemic and societal violence.
Holly uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis, and mind-body connection with a person-centered focus. She believes that therapy is a place to find and see one’s self without any judgement, and understand one’s perspective in the world. She infuses all therapeutic practices with a holistic and person-centered lens, taking into account the world in which they live and their past experiences. She has a background in working with trauma and is trained in therapeutic practices that guide and heal past traumas while ensuring the safety and wellness of the individual. Holly also has experience in supporting traumas caused by socioeconomic, cultural, and political factors as well as natural disaster events.
In her free time, she enjoys being social with friends, family, and loved ones, hiking with her dog, reading, and sewing.
