About Nakisha Williams
Nakisha is a Licensed Associate Counselor who provides therapy in a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered environment. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with a strengths-based perspective, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique experiences, goals, and values. She is passionate about helping clients develop greater self-awareness, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change, while working through their present concerns.
Nakisha earned both her Bachelor’s in Human Development & Psychology and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University at Albany, and has experience supporting clients across a variety of backgrounds and ages. She has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents and young adults navigating through anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and emotional wellness. She strives to create a brave, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged as they work toward the life they want to build.
