About Xavier Islam
Howdy! I’m Xavier, and I love working with adolescents and adults to build a safe, empathetic space to explore suffering, joy, and everything in between. I offer an LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed approach drawing from psychodynamic, narrative, and mindfulness-based therapies. Together, we can explore your inner world, make sense of your experiences, and discover new ways of living and loving through authenticity, humor, and creativity. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma-related concerns, and addiction. Outside of work, I love playing guitar in my band and spending time in the great outdoors.
