About Kayley Fox
Kayley is a Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science. She has experience working with children and families in various settings; including foster care, housing instability, youth day treatment, and private practice. Kayley is skilled in connecting with young children (in phase 2 of becoming a Registered Play Therapist) but has a passion for providing therapy to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Kayley’s approach to therapy is evidence-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed. She believes that each person and their needs are unique and incorporates a combination of CBT, ACT, MI, play, art, music, and movement-based interventions, depending on the client’s age, interests, and presenting concerns. Regardless of what modality is used, Kayley’s priority is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to work through life’s stressors and achieve your goals.
Outside of work, Kayley is a bit of a hobbyist. She enjoys reading, music, creating art, being active, gardening, as well as spending time with loved ones and her dog, Honey.
