About Melissa Lord

My name is Melissa Lord and I hold a Masters Degree of Science with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been providing individual and group therapy for 10 years. I have extensive experience in providing clinical supervision and guidance for pre-licensed clinicians. Clinical guidance and supervision includes reviewing documentation such as progress notes, treatment plans and intake assessments. Additionally, I provide a space that fosters learning and confidence for clinicians during supervision meetings in which clinicians can discuss questions or concerns about clients that they are working with. My supervision approach includes giving feedback to clinicians and positively reinforcing their accrued knowledge in this field.
