About Lailah Gude
Lailah is a trauma-informed mental health counselor who works with adolescents (12+) through older adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, chronic illness, and life transitions.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Behavioral Health Trauma. Her clinical experience includes residential treatment and working alongside the Department of Child Services (DCS), supporting individuals and families through complex systems and trauma.
Lailah approaches therapy from a multicultural, client-centered lens and has experience working with diverse populations, including BIPOC communities. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and respected.
She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, MERIT, Narrative Therapy, and strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed interventions.
