Dr. Kris Winchell is a licensed psychologist with over three decades of experience working with children and families. Trained in pediatric neuropsychology, she integrates brain science, creativity, and storytelling to help children understand and manage their emotions. She enjoys writing materials and is currently working on a children’s book series. Her writing reflects a deep commitment to making neuroscience accessible, engaging, and empowering for kids, parents, and educators alike. Outside of the work and academic arena, Dr. Winchell enjoys exploring nature, travelling, cooking and being a “foodie” with friends and family.
