About Allison Shanley
Dr. Allison Shanley is a license-eligible psychologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD and trauma, OCD, relationship issues, ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, and stressful life events and life transitions.
Her approach integrates CBT, DBT, person-centered, and psychodynamic modalities. She emphasizes the importance of understanding how past experiences shape present challenges while equipping clients with practical tools for emotional regulation and growth. Dr. Allison is committed to building a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
Dr. Allison earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from William James College and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Psychology Partners Group in Chappaqua, NY, as well as her predoctoral internship at Jordan Valley Community Health Center in Springfield, MO.
