Rachel has several years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families across a variety of settings. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and strives to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring what brings them to therapy.
Rachel has a particular passion for supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and has extensive experience working with survivors from diverse backgrounds. She uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and feel more empowered in their lives. Rachel works collaboratively with each client to identify their goals and draws from evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address emotional challenges, relationship concerns, communication difficulties, boundaries, self-esteem, and life transitions.
Rachel recognizes that reaching out for therapy can be difficult, and she places a strong emphasis on building trust and a genuine therapeutic connection. She meets clients where they are and works at a pace that feels comfortable while encouraging growth and meaningful change.
In addition to her experience with trauma and individual therapy, Rachel is continuing to expand her clinical expertise in working with couples and adults. She enjoys helping clients navigate relationship challenges, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Rachel is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth so she can continue providing thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized care to each person she works with.
Outside of her professional work, Rachel is passionate about music, movies, books, trying new foods, pop culture, and art in all its forms.
