About Danayse Lopez
Dana is a compassionate mental health therapist who wants to help you find clarity, healing and confidence in your life. She uses a mix of approaches during her sessions. Her specialities include trauma, relationships, and emotional regulation. She is not here to “fix” you, as you already have what you need within you! She is here to help you heal, grow and just feel more like yourself.
Dana’s experience comes from working with trauma, more specifically, addressing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of physical, sexual, and verbal abuse. Dana has also supported individuals struggling with emotional dysregulation and self-harming behaviors, such as cutting or disordered eating. She offers bilingual couples counseling and parent training for families of youth diagnosed with externalizing disorders (such as ADHD, CD, or ODD). Dana has also promoted communication skills in youth with verbal impairment or social skills deficiency, ultimately maximizing empathy and peer interactions.
She offers therapy in both English and Spanish, focusing on creating a culturally aware space that’s genuinely collaborative.
