About Daniel Awuku-Asante
I am an Out Patient/In-Home Therapist, a human services professional and a graduate of Boston University School of Social work. I believe in the power of a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, uncover their strengths, and achieve personal growth.
I have experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma-related diagnoses, self -Image issues and other Phase of Life challenges. I use a humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of Existentialism, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, Solution Focus and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while keeping careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices.
Each client is unique, so my goal is to work with you to find what works for you specifically. In every session, you will be met with kindness and unconditional positive regard. You will do some hard work, but you won’t be doing it alone. I look forward to hearing from you.
