Zoey Shelton, Pre-Licensed Intern

Zoey is currently working on completing her MSW program at Fort Hays State University where she will graduate in 2026. She graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies in 2024 from Kansas State University. Zoey enjoys working with clients of all ages while working to create a safe, trusting, and empathetic environment for her clients. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, reducing stigma, and fostering well-being at both individual and community levels. From growing up in a military family Zoey is passionate about helping not only the service members but also the family. Outside of work and school Zoey enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever. Some of her favorite hobbies are reading books, playing video games with her husband, spending time outdoors and crocheting. Some of her favorite books include Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games and many other books.
