Therapist

Zia (Zhenze, she/her) is an outpatient therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She strives to help clients feel seen as they navigate growth and change at their own pace.

Zia earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. Through her clinical training, she gained experience working with clients of different ages and backgrounds, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, ASD, identity exploration, and anger management.

Zia takes an integrative and individualized approach grounded in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) while also incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy based on each client’s unique needs, strengths, identities, and goals.

Zia is fluent in both English and Mandarin and welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Zia enjoys reading, writing, and baking with whatever ingredients she happens to have on hand.
