Zahra Ali, LAPC

Therapist

Zahra is inspired to bring in the adaptive, multicultural, and creative touch to counseling that growing up in Atlanta infuses in an individual. She has worked with children for almost 9 years, two of which have been in the counseling field. She specializes in working with young children and parents, as well as adolescents and young adults, employing behavioral modification and cognitive techniques, along with art and play therapy techniques. Her own life experience has led her to a special interest in ADHD and executive functioning, and with ASD in developing social skills and interpersonal connections. As an artist, she enjoys bringing expressive outlets of various mediums to the therapeutic setting, with children, adolescents and adults. Zahra also brings a unique multicultural lens and hopes to fill the void of multiracial providers that she wished she had growing up. Zahra believes passionately in being someone that people can feel comfortable and secure with and always encourages others to let their uniqueness shine as she does.
