Yaneth Puentes, LMFT (they/them), is a warm, kind, and compassionate (not to mention humorous) therapist with a wealth of experience in the field of mental health.
Yaneth has a passion for working with young adults and seniors, supporting individuals through challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief & loss, life transitions, and social/relational difficulties.
With a person-centered approach, Yaneth believes each person has the necessary tools and strengths to work collaboratively toward personal growth and self-discovery. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, Yaneth empowers clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, no matter their stage in life.
All while guiding clients in developing coping skills and the resilience to thrive by turning life’s puzzle pieces into a masterpiece, one session at a time.
Outside of the therapy room, Yaneth enjoys spending time in nature, practicing Muay Thai, tending to their indoor plants, and soaking in meaningful conversations over iced coffee. These moments help recharge and inspire the same presence they bring to their work.
