Veesser Aminpour Pohn, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Therapist/Clinic Manager

Veesser is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a strong passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families through emotional, developmental, and behavioral challenges. With experience ranging from toddlers to teens, she creates a warm, collaborative space where children feel safe to explore, express, and grow.

Veesser earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in pediatric clinics and multidisciplinary practices, deepening her understanding of the many factors that influence a child’s well-being.

She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, feeding challenges, and relational struggles. Her approach is child-led and relational, adapting to each child’s unique developmental stage, personality, and needs. She works closely with caregivers to build insight, confidence, and practical tools to support growth beyond the therapy room.

Veesser integrates play therapy, DIR/Floortime, and the SOS Approach to Feeding, among other evidence-based, developmentally informed methods. Her work is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a belief in every child’s capacity for connection and resilience.

Families appreciate Veesser’s calm presence, deep clinical knowledge, and collaborative spirit. She partners with caregivers to strengthen communication and build a shared understanding of their child’s needs.

Outside of work, Veesser enjoys time with her family, nature, and creative hobbies. She brings this sense of joy and balance into therapy, helping children and families thrive with heart and clinical skill.
