Tressa is a compassionate therapist who believes a healthy therapeutic alliance is founded on trust, empathy, positive outcomes, authenticity, and freedom. She recognizes the connection between the mind and body, and the importance of social and community supports, as well as equal access to to services and opportunity.

Her previous experience includes mental health/substance use, homelessness, social justice, LGBTQ, aging, adjustment to medical condition or life transitions, gender dysphoria, grief/loss, all ages, self harm and SI, veterans, and trauma.

Tressa utilizes a person-centered, individualized, strengths approach, integrating solution focused and CBT. She is passionate about the helping process, and understands the struggle to navigate the mental health system and how systems play a role. One of her greatest joys in work is seeing people feel empowered about themselves, change, and the life they want to create.

When she is not at work she enjoys travel, kayaking, meditation, research, and spending time with friends and family.
