Tiffany Urby is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland. She has a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, D.C. campus. Tiffany has extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and motivational interviewing. Tiffany has experience working with adolescents, young adults and adults of diverse backgrounds and presenting problems such as: depression, anxiety, adjustment, self-esteem and career. Tiffany’s population experience also includes law enforcement where she assists in Crisis Intervention Training, as well as incarcerated persons from her time working in corrections where she facilitated court-ordered anger management groups, individual therapy and group counseling in grief and self-esteem. Tiffany utilizes an integrative approach in formulating treatment goals and interventions that are tailored to her client’s specific needs. Creating a safe environment for individuals, couples and families to explore, express and process personal and interpersonal needs is one of Tiffany’s primary goals in therapy. Tiffany is a passionate therapist and client advocate that works to assist the client in improving their quality of life so when therapeutic services are no longer needed, they have the tools and the confidence to handle, process and work through the obstacles of life.
