Tess’s greatest value as a therapist is connection. She never takes the privilege of hearing someone’s story for granted. Tess is a warm, non-judgmental therapist who believes all humans are valid and deserving of healing and being heard. She has success working with adult clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, codependency, military trauma, self-esteem issues, and grief issues. Over the last three years, she provided clinical care for high-risk veterans struggling with addiction and trauma. Tess specializes in trauma-informed therapy and has worked extensively with substance use disorders. She utilizes a bottom-up approach, mindfulness, CBT, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
